Connie also draws on her creative backyard in assisting her clients after working for Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL, corporate Neiman-Marcus in Dallas, TX and American Girl in Middleton, WI.  In fact, during her tenure with American Girl, she has helped over 120 charities raise over $2 million dollars with events attended by more than 160,000 children and their families.  Her experience in marketing, staff training, special events, and store openings assists her with almost any project management project she works on in staying on budget and on task.

In 2002, Connie and her husband, Ed, bought GarageTek, an organizational company that specializes in installed storage systems mainly for garages. They operated the company from two Wisconsin storefronts in Madison and Milwaukee, and helped over 500 clients by installing storage systems in their garages, basements, closets, laundry rooms and even pantries.  Besides assisting homeowners, they also teamed up with realtors and builders in accessorizing their houses with the help of their storage product and expertise. GarageTek was an affiliate member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO).

In 2006, Connie and her husband successfully sold their Wisconsin organizational franchise and moved to California. Connie elected to stay in the organizational business arena and started Control Your Clutter, as a professional residential organizational business in 2010.  She is also a current member of the national NAPO.

Connie’s hobbies include collecting and selling antiques, with over 20 years experience as an antique dealer. While no longer an active dealer, she still enjoys antiques, the outdoors, and also serves a docent for the Bedford Gallery in Walnut Creek.

Connie’s enthusiasm, knowledge and creativity help her clients set up the proper systems to control clutter and be organized in their homes forever.
